In Shelburne Falls, MA just off the Mohawk Trail is one of the coziest places to stop for a coffee break I’ve ever encountered.
See? Cozy, like stepping into someone’s living room. I’ve now been to Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters twice and each time has been more of a pit-stop than anything else but I do like to take a peak around the corner from the main counter and enjoy the serenity, if only for a few seconds. There are plenty of places to sit and rest, and the room is filled with community fliers and local charm. Here’s the best part, though -
The breakfast goodies are way, way better than they have to be. On the left is a delicious almond something I picked up which was great. Sweet, but not overpowering and cooked perfectly, so the outside was light and flaky with a dense, buttery, undercooked center. On the right is a chocolate croissant, which was also nice and flaky, and the gooey chocolate center was surprisingly dark and boldly flavored. I personally am not the biggest coffee drinker in the world but everyone else in the car reported that everything was very good. We’ll be back!
